German mentor #2 of 3 was Frieda McCollum, a psychologist in California who had been "grandfathered in." Mac's wife was not only a teacher. She was, and still remains, my best friend. She talked and walked with me in the person of Jo Minor after she died and I had adopted the children.
Her presense joined us this morning during a break/snack of water, juice and wheat thins (crackers). FYI, those of you who do not know us face to face, Mac (Frieda's husband) was also a psychologist who taught at San Diego State before CSPP became part of another university. Their two daughters still live in that mega-metropolis. Einstein was German mentor #1 and Dexter Hess of Rome, Georgia and La Junta, Colorado is German mentor #3.
